Please understand: I love when a book is deeply fucked up. Ottessa Moshfegh is a master of writing disturbing, unlikeable characters in a way that is delicious and poignant and smart and different. Eileen is my favorite of hers, but I'm a big fan of My Year of Rest and Relaxation and Lapvona, too.
